Music stars unite for a Night For Ukraine

A plethora of UK artists come together tonight for Ukraine…

Billed a Night for Ukraine, the music world has been quick to respond to the plight of the Ukrainian people it seems.

A fundraising event at the Roundhouse tonight will be donated to the DEC, Disasters Emergency Committee, to support humanitarian and emergency response work in Ukraine and it’s neighbouring countries.

The Bloom Twins

The Ukrainian-born Bloom Twins will be performing as well as international artists, spoken word poetry. Amongst the performers confirmed are Bob Geldof and Chrissie Hynde along with a few surprise guests as yet unannounced. Anna and Sonya Kuprienko, are both classically-trained multi-instrumentalists.

James Walbourne of the Pretenders, Archive, Joseph Toonga, Yuriy Yurchuk accompanied by Konstantin Lapshin, Imelda May, Jack Garratt, Wayne McGregor, Eckoes, Joseph Lawrence, Peter Xan, Nadeem Din-Gabisi, Silai Estatira, Tom Baxter, and the London Community Gospel Choir have confirmed they will be joining the all-star lineup.

The project is organised by the founder of Secret Cinema, main collaborators Bloom Twins and Sunflower Relief, alongside Phoenix Court, Roundhouse, Sofar Sounds, Platoon, Lost, and ie: entertainment.

There will more concerts springing up for sure as the weeks go by and we’ll be reporting on some of them as news breaks. Watch this space.
